here you have it. This is what anime has been trying to do to us for years now. Chronologically, these are the characters and genders:
1986: Andromeda Shun from Saint Seiya, male 1989: Noa Izumi from Patlabor, female 1992: Rebin from Tekkaman Blade, male 1996: Kimera from Kimera, female 2002: Haku from Naruto, male 2008: Chrona from Soul Eater, unknown
Seriously, Ive watched the entire Soul Eater anime twice now and I still cant figure out if Kurona is male or female. If anyone cares to guess, please state your personal opinion.
Edit: Ok, I’ve seen the original Japanese text. Chrona is written in katakana text, so I will submit to the spelling argument. As for Chrona’s gender, however, all of you who dead-set to the point of anger that Chrona is a boy, how can you be so sure when the original author of Soul Eater still hasn’t picked a gender for him/her? Yes, the consensus for the anime is that Chrona is a boy (and since this is an anime based motivator, I should probably submit to that as well). However, the consensus for the manga is that Chrona is a girl. So, before you all get upset that not everyone agrees with you, please remember that even the creator hasn’t decided yet, and none of us will know for sure until he does.
